I'm worried about that, too: What If The Google Reader Readers Just Don’t Come Back?

What If The Google Reader Read... techcrunch.com screenshot

MG Siegler is spot on - people (like me) really depend on Google Reader and when I convinced my wife to give it a try, she did, she loved it and she reads all her news like that... and she didn't know Google Reader would shut down soon (she doesn't read tech blogs). Just imagine people like her seeing that Google Reader stopped working on July 1st. She'd lose all her subscriptions... and she'd not come back to many of the sites she was subscribed to.

Shutting down Google Wave or Google Buzz or similar services wasn't that problematic. Google Reader was/is very important to many people. It is to me. Hope that Reeder app figures something out before July 1st. I still want to use it and want to migrate my RSS feeds somewhere. Feedly maybe?

Will you miss Google Reader?
