Until reading this article by John Siracusa I didn't understand the problem of not having the Mac PRO by Apple. I'd say they're fine with having an iMac and a Mini in their lineup of desktop computers.

I'm a big fan of cars and John gives a great analogy to supercars and supercomputers... and why they need to exist... and why they might be ridiculously expensive and might not sell in many quantities... they might be vital for a company to have one of these.
